This is the first banner ad I ever clicked on in my life. Gap did an awesome job with this campaign. I mean, I actually clicked on the ad and was so relieved when it went to a facebook page that actually played a really interesting video - not a “signup now” page for bullshit. wow. And they ran this ad on the most perfect site for the audience of this type of content. I even considered “liking” the facebook page but felt like it was too lame to like a Gap page. if they had branded the page something cooler, like “Buy LA Denim. Buy Gap” or something then I totally would have “liked” it. But perhaps that’s too American Apparel? Either way, I can’t believe I clicked a banner ad. gross.
